While we are on the subject of baking, this is turning out to be one of those 'cut and come again' harvests whereby the combine works for a few hours or a day on the wheat then it rains and everyone stops and then a bit later it starts all over again.
So far the most accurate weather forecasting has been from Norway.

In the meantime we have had the first few lambs away at 6am today, 2 Wiltshire Horns and 5 Polled Dorset cross Wiltshire Horn. Anyone with orders for lamb boxes should hopefully hear from us within the next month.
